Success, for now!

Mercy’s surgery on Friday to place a G-tube directly into her stomach went well. Praise God! We were worried that her previous abdominal surgeries increased her risk for complications. Thankfully, her surgery went smoothly and she was released home Saturday afternoon.

We’re already seeing a difference in her overall comfort level. We’re no longer having to stick an NG tube down her sinuses multiple times a day. She’s throwing up far less than she has been. And we can see her beautiful face.

Thanks for praying, friends. It’s a long journey that just keeps going, but she seems one step closer to being able to develop normally. Pray she starts to eat by mouth soon!
