6lbs and a Shot Glass

Mercy is up past 6 pounds! She’s handling her current challenges well, and her feedings are increasing about every other day. She’s up to the equivalent of two commemorative Lurie Children’s shot glasses per day!
Thankfully, we don’t have to imagine what that would look like anymore. On Epiphany, I received this in the mail:

Our dear friends, Mark and Lynn, commissioned this bespoke, limited-edition, commemorative shot glass for us to celebrate the fact that Mercy is now able to drink a bottle. Best Epiphany gift I’ve received.
Mercy is getting two of these per day over eight feedings; when she is up to two per feeding we’ll be close(r) to having her home.
And this gift highlights one of the biggest mercies we’ve received during this marathon rollercoaster: as difficult as things have been, we’ve never been alone. You all have hoped with us, wept with us, rejoiced with us, and eagerly await Mercy’s return with us.
Mercies overflowing, indeed.

Here's a 'Best Of' compilation from the last few days:

Mercy meet her Nana!

Mercy wore a bow!

Mercy told me all about it!

Mercy napped like a boss!
Ways to Pray:
Relief from her hemangioma. They change the dressing once per day, and she screams for about an hour after. It's terrible.
Feedings continue to increase
Continued healing for her broken arm
So much encouraging news!!! I will be praying for relief from the pain of the hemangioma and healing of her arm. So exciting that she is feeding and gaining weight! Thx for the great photos!😊🙏🌷❤️
Such great news! So glad Wendy can be there, too!!
