790!

It’s been a bit since my last update. Here's where we are: Mercy is still on the bubble CPAP, she’s still looking fine bowel-wise, she’s still having occasional desaturation events. For the most part, “no change” is good.

One area that we’re hoping and praying for a change is her weight. She’s hovered around 720-750 grams for most of the last few weeks and each day we wait to hear if she’s gained or lost weight during the night. The fact that she’s processing food well is encouraging, but she hasn’t put on as much weight as we would hope. As one of the ISCU nurses said, “…she’s still very much 'in the woods' and will be until she’s around 3lbs.”

Last night she gained 30 grams! She’s now up to 790 grams. Praise God for the gain, and pray it continues!!
