We’re in the home stretch. Mercy needs to receive all of her nutrition through feeds so that the doctors can remove her central line. Then she can come home. She’s getting closer every day - we’re less than an ounce per feed away. We’re finally looking at weeks rather than months.
Still, we’re at Mercy’s pace. She’s struggling with emesis and extended bowels. And this marathon rollercoaster seems to never end. Until it does, pray for her to stop throwing up, to keep gaining weight, and to adjust to her increased feeds. Pray she stays healthy. Pray for peace for us.
Thank you all for being there for her and for us. She is such a cutie and it is so fun to see glimpses of her personality coming through already. Here are some of my favorite pics from the last two weeks:
Great update!! Go Mercy go!!
These photos made my day! Her smile is so precious. Praying she keeps all her feeds down and is able to increase her intake. Also that her digestion becomes normal. Praying also for you, her parents, for endurance and hope as her homecoming gets closer. God is good and He hears our prayers. ❤️😊🙏
She is just so stinkin' cute!!!!!
Praying that the sweet and much anticipated homecoming happens soon
